About...
Nocturne is one of my longest running and most ambitious creative projects, and also the one I am most partial to.
I originally started Nocturne in 2015 as a webcomic hosted on Tapas and SmackJeeves, and as I made my way through my animation degree, it evolved into a 25 minute animated pilot.
The story's themes focus largely on dealing with the aftermath of trauma, both as individuals and on a community scale. I often describe it as a mix between The X-Files, Jem and the Holograms and Fargo (TV series), with the visual direction of old cyberpunk-y anime like Cyber City Oedo.
This project has been on
indefinite hiatus
since August 2023. I still plan on returning to Nocturne one day, but for now, I'd like to work on smaller scale projects that I can complete on my own.
